Fair use rationale for Image:Age of Consent (Virgin Steele album).jpg[edit]

Image:Age of Consent (Virgin Steele album).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Age of Consent (Virgin Steele album)Age of Consent (album) — According to the standards specified for Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums the qualifier (album) should be sufficient as there is no page for other albums with that exact name (The Bronski Beat album is named The Age of Consent). Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's policy on article titles.
  • Support per WP:PRECISION. Jenks24 (talk) 03:55, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Lewismaster (talk) 11:36, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose This nomination confuses formal titling with common usage.
Per WP:PRECISION, dabs should be short, but since the definite article is not normally included in a title it may commonly omitted from the titles where it does formally belong. So a reader looking for the Bronski beat album may quite reasonably look for "Age of Consent" rather than "The Age of Consent". As a result, the title "Age of Consent (album)" may reasonably be read to refer to either the VS album or the BB album, and the proposed renaming would breach WP:PRECISION by not being as precise as necessary. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 17:33, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
