8 Card Stud Tournament should be listed in match form as well[edit]

Because, right now, the match card looks pathetic and doesn't portray the PPV at all. Especially the fact that the Championship match wasn't the Main Event. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.246.1.102 (talk) 03:57, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

8-Card Stud Tournament[edit]

Can anyone find confirmation that this will be a one night tournament at the PPV? All the wording from TNA makes it sound like that is the case. TJ Spyke 05:16, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Go to wrestlezone.com or tnawrestling.com and you will see that the 8 card stud tourney will happen at AAO so it is likely that the ppv will consist of the tourny, the 3D vs. Nasty Boys Match, and the World Heavyweight Championship match.--205.122.107.6 (talk) 21:13, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From - http://www.tnawrestling.com/news/item/1764-current-lineup-for-against-all-odds-ppv

TOURNAMENT MATCHES: The Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan Kurt Angle vs. Mr Anderson Mick Foley vs. Abyss Plus, the semifinal and final tournament matches! - So is a KOTR type tournament. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.110.109.24 (talk) 13:35, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

how come?[edit]

how come WWE ppv pages go into detail about what happened in advent like how they won and lost ect but TNA ppvs just have bare minnimal THATS RIGHT I SAID IT —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.249.129 (talk) 21:23, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, add to them (see Wikipedia:Be bold). The main reason is that TNA has far fewer fans, and that results in fewer people interested in editing TNA articles. TJ Spyke 22:35, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tournament Brackets[edit]

I don't know if the Wikipedia guidelines have changed or not, so I haven't edited the brackets, but should it just be left as the matches shown on the PPV? Are they still allowed to be extended to the matches that were on the iMPACT! shows as well? Mjack32 (talk) 14:59, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Those were qualifying matches, they weren't part of the actual tournament (it's like how WWE used to have qualifying matches for the King of the Ring tournament). They can maybe be mentioned in prose (i.e. "Wrestler A beat Wrestler B to qualify for the tournament"), but they won't be added to the bracket because they weren't part of the tournament.
