Article cleanup[edit]

This article is fairly short and offers few references and links. It definitely could use some work. (Too bad my school didn't offer AP Latin :/)

If anyone is well-versed in the AP Latin course structure, that's one possible area of improvement. In addition, it could probably use some more information about the exam itself. Whatever can be added here would probably be beneficial. Best of luck to whoever is willing!Neo(T) 00:30, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The spelling on the website of "Virgil" is an accepted version of the name; however, the CollegeBoard (the organization that administers the test) spells it "Vergil," and the poet's name in Latin was Publius Vergilius Maro. For these two reasons, I think that the name on the site should be spelled "Vergil," and not "Virgil." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dar5995 (talkcontribs) 21:32, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My edits, which were correct according to the College Board's website, were removed. My proposed edits added a lot to the website, and I see no reason why they were taken down. I put sources for my additions, and these were extremely reliable (the College Board). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dar5995 (talkcontribs) 05:07, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have made significant edits to this page, including additions of sections about the structure of the exam, the course revisions for the 2012-2013 academic year, and an expansion of the page's introduction. It would be nice if a senior editor could look at this page and decide if it still needs the cleanup tag. Of note, I also included many direct citations to the College Board's website, which further enhances the validity of my edits. Dar5995 (talk) 20:27, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup Template Removal[edit]

I edited this page about nine months ago, corrected the mistakes and added sections that fulfilled the necessity for a cleanup. The page is very good and well cited, and I think that it meets all of the requirements of a proper Wikipedia page (it also is just as good as the other Advanced Placement courses pages). Therefore, the template should be removed because it hurts the perceived credibility of the page, since when people see it, they immediately think that it is bad because of the tag. Thanks.
