Propose merging into Adult animation: unnecessary content split. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 16:21, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see that, but I actually think @User:Forthicy did a good thing, considering the work on Draft:Adult animation, as first discussed at Talk:Adult animation/Archive 2#Comment. I'm not sure the title of this article is the best. However, optimistically, the current split of content between the two pages could allow for more of a focus on what adult animation actually is, rather than focusing on specific examples of adult animation in certain countries/regions. So, at this present time, I oppose the merger. Historyday01 (talk) 17:40, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It would be Adult animation by country, and this split should be helpful for the long run. Sadly the draft hasn't seen any work yet and the current adult animation article is short. Honestly, my main concern here is that it's not helpful to go through adult animaiton on a country-by-country basis at all. In that sense, I'm really on the fence. I might rather see a lot of this stuff deleted and the rest merged again. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 09:56, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, that is a good point. Historyday01 (talk) 02:03, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support merge into Adult animation. Much of the content on the longer Adult animation in countries articles is helpful to the broader topic. I agree that much of the subject has information that is generalizeable, although some of it is country-specific. Given this mix, I think that a merge is warranted. Perhaps restructuring can follow post-merge. Klbrain (talk) 11:03, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sad we have so far failed to expand the Adult animation draft to replace the article. I do still think the split is appropriate, but it has indeed left the main article very short for the past three months. I apologize... ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 14:44, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
