Requested move[edit]

This page was recently moved from Adel to Adel (disambiguation) and Adel was made into a redirect to German nobility. I do not agree that German nobility is the primary usage of the word "Adel", which has many uses as placename and personal name, so I request that this disambiguation page be moved back to the title "Adel". It may be useful to note that the "What links here" to the Adel page are predominantly links to the English settlement of Adel, Leeds (I'd fix them immediately, except that it seems perhaps useful to leave them here as evidence!), and some references to the personal name. I have simplified, clarified, expanded and restructured the page today. PamD (talk) 15:48, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And, despite what I said above, have disambiguated 7 links on 6 pages which were pointing to Adel intending Adel, Leeds; also unlinked one from Austrian nobility which did not seem useful. PamD (talk) 16:31, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Tend to agree that there is no significant prime candidate for the main place so the dab page should be there. Keith D (talk) 16:58, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Although I listed this at WP:RM as a "potentially controversial" request, an admin has already made the requested move. Please do not change the name of this page again without further discussion. Thanks. PamD (talk) 07:18, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
