General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: The spelling seems to be disputed between different reliable sources including Reuters, Kipyego is certainly correct but not sure Reuben or Reuban. Reuben is used widely so I really hope it is correct. the hook is included in the text (not verbatim which is not required anyway). Hook good to go, good work! 2018 course times[edit]

for 2018, both the mens and womens times are the fastest total, but neither are recognized as the fastest course time. Is this a mistake or am I missing something — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikipediaNerd12345 (talkcontribs) 18:23, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WikipediaNerd12345, the 2018 course was reportedly short, so reliable sources have ignored times from that year when determining the course record times. one of the footnotes for the table of winners mentions the issue, and the history section has a paragraph with more detail about how people concluded that the course was short. dying (talk) 01:00, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
