Questionable references[edit]

This "source", "Inglisī, Puṣhto falsafe qāmūs. Kabul or Peshawar: Danish Publishing Association. 2005. pp. 326. Retrieved 2011-06-10.", is not viable. The page number is actually the total number of pages of the book which can be found on books.google.com[1], and is not viewable. Therefore it sources nothing. --Kansas Bear (talk) 23:06, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this source just and only used to show that this person does exits and we need to work on it and not to delete it, for the reason that this person doesn't exists.Tofaan (talk) 17:10, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
are this sources ok for you?Number 67 and 68 on the list.[2]Tofaan (talk) 17:22, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since you seem to be having a problem understanding how sources work here on Wikipedia, I would suggest you read Wikipedia:Reliable Sources. --Kansas Bear (talk) 20:59, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some sources for Toofan[edit]

Based on WP:NOENG, you can use the following sources.

You can find many more credible online sources. If I find any English sources, I will add them here as well. (Ketabtoon (talk) 03:07, 16 June 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Can you give a brief summary of what those sources contain? I don't read Pashto, but at least one of those pages is publicity from the publisher of a book he has written, and it looks as though the others may possibly confirm the existence of his books but not give significant coverage about him. I also notice that one of the sources gives a link to this Wikipedia talk page, which raises some doubts as to how reliable a source it is. I would, however, be very grateful for clarification. The fact that he has been covered by such credible sources like BBC, Pajhwok (among the top news agencies of Afghanistan), Danish (book publishing) shows that he is a notable person.
  • Pajhwok Afghan News - "ډاکټر عبدالحميد بهيج ٢٢چاپي اثار لري چې پنځه يې دلغتونو زېرمې ياقاموسونه دي" .. "Doctor Bahij's 22 books have been published, of which 5 of them are dictionaries."
The source mainly talks about the various dictionaries he has worked on and it's importance. I will add more info about the other sources soon.

Restoring PRODBLP[edit]

user:Lysozym have restored PRODBLP again. I have given 5 sources and 4 are given by user:Ketabtoon. When PRODBLP suggest that their must be at least one source, when it's a biography of a living person. So, my question is that, is it right that he can restore PRODBLP when there are 9 sources given?Tofaan (talk) 11:46, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When Pashto language wikipedia has also a article about this person, with farther information.Tofaan (talk) 11:49, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please read Wikipedia:Notability. --Lysozym (talk) 00:14, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
