Missing period[edit]

In the introduction it is claimed that He entered the Ottoman military but soon fled with his father when the kemalists took power. I didn't quite understand this assertion. Kemalists were effective only after the first world war (after 1919) in Turkey . Moreover in the early years of Turkish War of Independence, İstanbul was under British rule. Abdul Aziz was older than 30 when the Kemalists took power in İstanbul. That leaves a great gap between his entrance to Ottoman military and his escape from Turkey. What did he do in Balkan and First World War as a young officier ? Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 10:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
