Woman (1965)[edit]

Maybe you can remove "Woman" seeing this song was released in 1965...S.K. I'll copy/paste a fr.speaking wiki link in one litle moment...

Lennon[edit]

I think you should add a note in here about the fact that John Lennon thought this was a terrible McCartney song. According to a published source (I can't remember the source but I could find out) Lennon thought in particular the opening line "Please lock me away.." hilarious because of the connotation that the singer was mentally ill. He didn't complain at the royalty cheques he received for his name being on the credit though... Pepperstool 12:51, 24 July 2006 (UTC)"[reply]

This is a rare case where I agree with John Lennon. I used to listen to an oldies station, but whenever they played this I'd turn it as fast as I could. I think it's one of the worst songs of the 60s. (POV of course, but there you go)--T. Anthony 06:59, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

McCartney. Lennon?[edit]

If, as the page says, "McCartney wrote the song when he was 16", why are we crediting it to "Lennon–McCartney"? Please {{Ping}} me to discuss. --Thnidu (talk) 18:54, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Last Night In Soho"[edit]

The song (the Peter and Gordon original recording) is played over the opening sequence of the film "Last Night In Soho," released in 2021.Maccb (talk) 16:07, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
