Yes it does[edit]

According to the Erza talked history both versions are wrong. The question was of Inäzor of Purgaz Abram´s or Obranj´s capital Obranjosh (Obranjoz). The town of Obranj which was located on the site of Nizhij Novgorod and its wooden hill fortress at the site of nowadays Nizhij Novgorod Kremlin on the south bank of confluence of Rava and Oka Rivers. The defenders of Obranjosh, when they saw the the defeat was coming, decided to kill themselves rather than become slaves of Vladimir (Volodmerj) Slav Princes. They, including the women and children, committed an group suicide by drowning themselves to Rava (Volga). The number of the prisoners as described in the later written Tver (Tihveri) chronicle, were taken from the surrounding Erzä villages, not from Obranjosh. This was the second setback to create an united Mirde (Mordva) nation named Purgaz among the Mirde peoples. From this started the downfall of the Finno Ugrian Mirde peoples on the lands of Rava Heights.

After the destruction of Obranjosh the Erza capital was transferred to Arzamas.

No wonder that the Russians have never found any marks of down burned Obranjosh (Russian Oshel, Tatar Ashli) because they researched the ruins from totally wrong places. I believe this is the real version for this 1220 Battle of Oshel / Ashli. All known facts support this.
