Does it actually have estrogenic activity? Lemini et al's results couldn't be reproduced by Hossaini et al. (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/S0278-6915(99)00160-X), and the only entries in this curated database (https://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/pubhealth/evalatm/tox21-support/endocrine-disruptors/edhts.html) state it has no activity. This document also states: "The weight of the evidence supports the generally accepted view that the metabolite PHBA lacks estrogenic activity" (ec.europa.eu/health/scientific_committees/consumer_safety/docs/sccs_o_069.pdf, page 13) Labmuffin (talk) 12:32, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
