5-a-side football qualification for the 2020 Summer Paralympics

Hi. The 2018 IBSA Blind Football World Championships took place in Madrid this June. I went to a few of the games with the goal of getting pictures for articles about sportspeople, countries and teams as Paralympic image licensing during the Games means you cannot legally upload photos to Commons. :( Need to get photos before hand as a result. The photos are on Commons sorted by team at Blind football teams, and 2018 IBSA Blind Football World Championships. These may be useful for anyone wanting to work on articles about players, teams and qualification for 5-a-side football at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. --LauraHale (talk) 06:29, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Tokyo 2020 Games calendar

I have found a website link for the details of the games calendar and I was wondering if anybody could help me create the calendar (similar to the ones in other Olympic and Paralympics pages) - if there's a template that I could possibly use then that would be beneficial as I'm not very good at making templates. If anybody wants to do it then that's absolutely fine, this is the website link: https://tokyo2020.org/en/games/schedule/paralympic/

The list on here is different to the official website as there are 164 not 167. MSalmon (talk) 18:01, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
Msalmon, Which teams are missing from our list? I find the official site to be about as clear as mud. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 12:12, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
I have removed them (East Timor, Trinidad and Tobago, Myanmar and Vanuatu) MSalmon (talk) 12:15, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Msalmon, there is a Myanmar at the 2020 Summer Paralympics which implies they will be there, but it might of course be outdated? Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 13:35, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
I'm only going by what's on the official website MSalmon (talk) 13:46, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Msalmon, So one athlete from Afghanistan has arrived. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 11:25, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Will Russia be competing?

Does anybody know if Russia will be competing in the 2020 Summer Paralympics or not? I've noticed there have been a few qualifying competitions where they had earned a spot but I'm not sure if their allocated spot has been or would be offered to another country or stayed the same. If so, do you know if there would be any info on where their allocated spots would be relocated to and whom. SarahTHunter (talk) 17:47, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

They will be competing under the acronym RPC (Russian Paralympic Committee) as they were during the Olympics. MSalmon (talk) 15:02, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
MSalmon is correct. Here is a citation to provide more information on RPC. See https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/24/sport/what-is-rpc-paralympics-explainer-spt-intl/index.html Jurisdicta (talk) 03:53, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
It was ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) in the 2020 Summer Olympics, but yeah. they're competing as RPC. BTW - It's too bad, the CBC isn't giving these games full coverage, like the did the Summer Olympics. GoodDay (talk) 22:43, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
