  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
General
  • Images are good
    • Alternative text is not required for GA, but is always a good idea for accessibility reasons
  • Sources are good
  • Spotchecks revealed no issues with close paraphrasing
Lead
  • The lead seems thin, especially since the team did not seem to accomplish much in this season. Perhaps, as you have done at 2011 Team Europcar season, you could make note of whether this is the 5th or 10th or whatever season for the team at the UCI pro level/overall? Also, Sánchez's winning the King of the Mountains classification at the Tour de France seems notable enough to the lead to me?
  • Clarified the season count; might need refining due to the overlapping timeframes of TT1 and ProTeams, but not too sure. Sánchez's KotM win was already there, but it has been expanded along with the Nieve and Antón Giro wins. Craig(talk) 13:50, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The team had relatively few victories in 2011" - Relative to what?
  • Clarified with the addition of the count from 2010. Craig(talk) 13:50, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
2011 Roster
  • Source required for team members
Spring classics
  • As with 2011 Team Europcar season, a cite for the participation in the races they did not place well in would be helpful. (also in the Fall races and Stage races sections - Is there any kind of source that simply notes all events the team participated in rather than requiring individual cites?)
Giro d'Italia
  • "True to their reputation as a team of lightweight climbers with little if any ability against the clock..." - Citation does not support this claim
  • Appears to have been lifted from a rider's page; removed, but added a ref and quote from Antón about the performance. Craig(talk) 00:01, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Despite the stage 16 individual time trial being almost fully composed of the Nevegal climb, both Antón and Nieve significant time." - Missing words? I can't make sense of this statement.
Tour de France
  • "the squad's extra training in the team time trial effectively proved to have been worthless..." - POV as this is not mentioned in the source. I think you'd be okay with just getting rid of "proved to be worthless". Something like "despite their training session, the team still finished last..."
  • Reworded, and added a ref with information about the training in question. Craig(talk) 23:45, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Footnotes
  • Cites for these notes would be helpful
Overall

A with 2011 Team Europcar season, the article looks good overall. Needs a few citations, and a a bit of rewording in places, and this should be good to go. Regards, Resolute 21:28, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good now, thus, passing. Congrats! Resolute 14:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
