Title[edit]

@Daddyson11111 Why are you removing the year from the title? The title should be in line with WP:CRITERIA. Without the year, the article's subject is vague, since there have been many police raids in Skopje. Just search on the internet and see how many results you get about the event when you include the year. Explain your reasoning because "unnecessary" is not a justification to me. Skopje police raid2001 Skopje police raid – Thought this move was gonna be uncontroversial, but it is what it is. The article had an even more vague title before. I propose to add the year to the title to make it clear that it happened in 2001. The current article's title makes it seem like it's the only police raid that happened in Skopje and thus is still vague. My argument about the event appearing more in search results when you add the year is still valid. StephenMacky1 (talk) 12:09, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. There's cause to remove year when there's a famous common name or it's clearly an unusual event, but police raids are too common - year would aid clarity. SnowFire (talk) 18:34, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Casualty numbers[edit]

In the commander section there are 6 listed commanders that were killed while police reports say 5 were killed and according to Boskovski 5 rebels were detained (not injured) but on the page it says 30 were arrested, can somebody make sense of this? Based.shqiptar.frompirok (talk) 22:51, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that would make the Civil Media source unreliable regarding the casualties. I'm pretty sure that if one more person was killed, we'd know earlier. Per the sources, a mosque was raided too then and it's quite possible that some were arrested or detained there. The sources give contradictory information about whether there were arrests or detainments, and how many people were arrested or detained. I think it's best to exclude this contradictory information from the infobox. StephenMacky1 (talk) 21:19, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Strength[edit]

Hello Based guyy. Are you sure about the 25 figure? Considering it's a claim by witnesses. Per The Independent source, 200+ police officers were involved. Also see WP:REDNO on why Koxhaj's name shouldn't be linked. It is unlikely that an article about him will be created or retained, since it was deleted twice for lacking notability. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lefter Koxhaj and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lefter Koxhaj (2nd nomination). StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:26, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. @StephenMacky1 thanks for the information, and for giving a source about the strength! And I will now change it as the source says, sorry for the misunderstanding. Based guyy (talk) 16:02, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
