Article Neutrality[edit]

This article (primarily the first section) is being used as an advertisement for a company who produced 2-Acrylamido-2-methylpropane Sulfonic Acid and their trademarked name (AMPS) is being used throughout the article. This article needs to be less biased toward this one company, as many different companies (including Sigma-Aldrich) sell this chemical as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Themij (talkcontribs) 21:41, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I share your concern that it is promoting one company. The article states that AMPS is a registered Trade Mark, but where is it registered as such? As no territory is specified, I assume USA registration. A quick search of the internet finds AMPS being widely used for 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid by other suppliers.

Referencees removed[edit]

Hello Bgwhite, thanks for your corrections. However, you did also remove two references. What is the reason? In that way information is lost. Furthermore there are still many patents left. Best regards --Minihaa (talk) 19:35, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
