Hi @Number 57:, Nohlen (source) shows different results: for example, it shows 800,333 votes for Taya (see also CNN). On the other hand, Africa South of the Sahara 2003 shows 801,190 votes for Taya. @151 cp: Apologies, I must have forgotten to update the source when I updated the numbers. According to the African Elections Database the numbers in the Nohlen source are not really correct as they are from various unofficial sources.
However, it does look like Mauritania (for this election) treated blank votes as valid (like Colombia does), so I will split these out as such. Cheers, Number57 11:21, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
