1798 in India[edit]

Many thanks for proposing deletion of this article, seconds after I had started it. It is not an empty article and is a stub, to be developed and added to. That is the purpose of stubs - immediate deletion allows no development of articles. I am currently going through Indian people by occupation adding their details to new and older articles in the Years in India series. There will be more entries to follow for 1798 in India if the article is left to be added too. Please understand the stub principle and remove this deletion proposal forthwith. It is a PROD not an AFD proposal. The idea is that any editor who comes along and sees it adds content to make it valid. I appreciate that you are creating the years in film, but by guidelines if you are creating empty pages which you intend filling later you should be adding convenience templates to identify your intentions at the top such as {{under construction}}. This shows courtesy to other editors that it is a page in the making not another perma-stub that will be left, Regards Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 13:11, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
