Plot[edit]

The dysfunctional Hornsby family run Royal Crackers Incorporated, a once-popular snack food company which manufactures saltine crackers in Bakersfield, California.[5] When senile patriarch and CEO Theodore Hornsby Sr.'s mind starts to slip, his two sons Stebe and Theodore "Theo" Jr. are left to run the failing company while living in their father's mansion with Stebe's wife Deb and their son Matt as they deal with competition from Dennison Snacks and experience different misadventures along the way.

Characters[edit]

Main[edit]

  • Stebe Hornsby (voiced by Jason Ruiz) is one of the heirs of Royal Crackers Incorporated. When he was born, he was meant to be called Steve only for it to be intentionally misspelled on his birth certificate upon his Dad's request to show his resentment at being tasked for naming his son whose anorchia embarrassed him deeply.
  • Deb Hornsby (voiced by Jessica St. Clair) is Stebe's wife. She is on the board of directors at Royal Crackers Incorporated and is in charge of the Hornsby family's social media accounts.
  • Theodore "Theo" D. Hornsby Jr. (voiced by Andrew Santino) is a former nu metal star who is the bass player/lead singer of TainT and one of the heirs of Royal Crackers Incorporated.
  • Matthew "Matt" Hornsby (voiced by Maile Flanagan) is the son of Stebe and Deb. He has a semi-poor relationship with his parents and uncle Theo.
  • Darby Blarchardt (voiced by David Gborie) is the Hornsby family's lawyer and former criminal lawyer who works at Blarchardt & Associates. He has an off-kilter personality where he has done things like not listening to his conscious mind when it told him not to order hamburgers from Burger Boyz which give him diarrhea despite being good, accidentally using Theodore Hornsby Sr.'s will as toilet paper while still remembering what was on it, and assuming that he can replicate the traps from Home Alone to deal with a home invasion.

Recurring[edit]

  • Theodore D. Hornsby Sr. is the elderly CEO of Royal Crackers Incorporated and the father of Stebe and Theo whose senility and declining health has him often seen in a sleep state enough to no longer stay conscious during meetings. Because of this, he was moved around in a wheelchair, usually by his grandson Matt. During his youth and early days running Royal Crackers after making the first version of them on his wheat farm, Theodore Sr. had committed various atrocities and ran his company with an iron fist. The episode "Craftopia" revealed that Theodore Sr. had his mind mapped to an A.I. that resides in the company's corporate level.
  • Alfred "Al" Winstanley (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) is a Russian-American board member with a long Shenandoah beard who has been with Royal Crackers Incorporated since its early days. The episode "Craftopia" reveals that Al has a limp as a result from a skiing accident, enjoys doing a skiing video game on the side, and has access to the corporate level.
  • Rachel (voiced by Stephanie Sheh) is a Royal Crackers board member. In season 2, her self-titled episode revealed that Rachel is actually a small mushroom person from an underground kingdom called Subterra with her Asian-American woman body being a "Land Rover".
  • Moey D (voiced by Jamar Malachi Neighbors) is a dwarf and the former hype man of TainT who works at Kenny's Lobster Shack. He is a parody of Joe C.
  • Clair Bailey (voiced by Debra Wilson) is a news anchor for CVM.
  • The Dennison family is the rival family of the Hornsby family.
    • Rob Dennison (voiced by Andy Daly) is the Co-CEO of Dennison Snacks and the son of its founder Luther Dennison. He relies on Stebe to help with his Wi-Fi issues and hosts a "Guys' Night" that Stebe wants to be invited to.
    • Mel Dennison (voiced by Lennon Parham) is the wife of Rob Dennison and Co-CEO of Dennison Snacks. She is Deb's rival.
    • Sebastian Dennison (voiced by Kyle Dunnigan in season two) is the oldest son of Rob and Mel Dennison who is an aspiring rapper.
    • Sarah Dennison is the oldest daughter of Rob and Mel Dennison.
    • The Dennison Twins are the unnamed son and daughter of Rob and Mel Dennison who are fraternal twins.
    • Gus Dennison is the youngest son of Rob and Mel Dennison.
    • Hailey Dennison is the youngest daughter of Rob and Mel Dennison.
  • Mr. P (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) is a teacher at J. Davis High.
  • The Utzi Wutzis (Various Voices) are the cat-like natives of Catalina Island. Even though they were hostile, they soon became loyal to Theodore and helped to make up his work force as Theodore gave them the name of Utzi Wutzi because that's what they mostly say.
