@WeatherWriter; It's one of dozens of international reactions, and says nothing groundbreaking. If he announced further aid to Israel, the deployment of a naval task force, or something of the sort, it would be worthy; however, it's simply yet another condemnation of Hamas and the atttacks, which to put it bluntly isn't especially notable. @The Kip:Wall Street Journal, "U.S. Weighs Deploying Second Aircraft Carrier Group", announced at during the speech. Both that and Joe Biden's statement should be added back to the portal. I am not going to revert you, but given you said deployment of a naval task force being something worthy, both things are worthy for the portal and I would request you self-revert and improve the bullet point with the navel deployment consideration. Feel free to add the announcement of the carrier group deployment; it's just that one of literally hundreds of condemnations at this point is not newsworthy enough. TheKip 19:37, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That said, the WSJ article also states the US is "weighing" deploying the group, not that they have. Until an actual deployment, it's WP:CRYSTAL and would be advisable to hold off. TheKip 19:37, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
