Negar Rural District (Persian: دهستان نگار) is in Negar District of Bardsir County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] It is administered from the city of Negar.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District of Bardsir County) was 2,807 in 679 households.[5] There were 2,409 inhabitants in 644 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of the new Negar District.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,459 in 1,042 households. The most populous of its 123 villages was Bahramjerd, with 493 people.[2]
