Mohammadabad chahdasht (Persian: محمدآباد چاه دشت,[3] is a village in Chah-e Hasan Rural District of Chah-e Hasan District, Jazmurian County, Kerman province, Iran, and serves as capital of the district.[4]
Details[edit]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 560 in 113 households, when it was in Jazmurian Rural District of the former Jazmurian District of Rudbar-e Jonubi County).[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,513 people in 337 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,548 people in 363 households.[2]
In 2023, the district was separated from the county, elevated to the status of Jazmurian County, and divided into two districts with two rural districts each and the city of Zeh-e Kalut as the new county's capital.[4]
