Marhemetabad District (Persian: بخش مرحمت‌آباد) is a former administrative division of Miandoab County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Chahar Borj.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 23,700 in 5,718 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 25,814 people in 7,135 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 26,219 inhabitants in 7,797 households.[2]

In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Chaharborj County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Chahar Borj as its capital.[6]
