Manuchihr II was the seventeenth shah of Shirvan. Azerbaijani historian Sara Ashurbeyli associated him with Al-Adud,[1] a son of Fariburz I, who was mentioned by Masud b. Namdar as ruling emir of Ganja.[2] He might have started this tenure when Malik Shah removed Fadlun ibn Fadl from power in 1086.
His existence is only known through inscription and numismatic evidence. According to Dickran Kouymjian, his reign may have started as early as 1094.[3]
