This is a list of people executed in the United States in 2023. A total of twenty-four people, twenty-three male and one female, were executed in the United States in 2023, all by lethal injection.[1]

  1. ^ Amber McLaughlin has also been identified as Scott A. McLaughlin in the death warrant and prison records. McLaughlin transitioned from male to female while incarcerated.[2][3][4] She thus became the first transgender woman executed in the United States.[5]
