Kisom Rural District (Persian: دهستان كيسم)[3] is in the Central District of Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh County, Gilan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Kisom.[5]

At the census of 2006, its population was 10,294 in 3,230 households.[6] There were 9,317 inhabitants in 3,248 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district had decreased to 8,935 in 3,334 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Tajan Gukeh, with 1,809 people.[2]
