Jefferson Masonic Temple is a building completed in 1913 in Jefferson Park, it provides a meeting space for Masonic Lodges and appendant bodies in the 5th Northeastern District of the Grand Lodge Of Illinois: Oriental Lodge #33, Hesperia #411, King Oscar Lodge #855, Paul Revere Lodge #998, and Kelvyn Park-Willing Lodge #1075.[1][2]
In 1913, the Wiley M. Providence Lodge formed the Jefferson Masonic Association and built their new temple. Jefferson Masonic Association now maintains the Jefferson Masonic Temple.[3]

The Jefferson Masonic Temple, completed in 1913, is one of a few remaining active Masonic Temples in the city limits of Chicago. Freemasons played an important role in the history of Jefferson Park, and can trace their history in the area back to 1868. The Providence Lodge, which built the structure, eventually merged with the King Oscar Lodge, and the space is now shared by several different Lodges and owned by the nonprofit Jefferson Masonic Temple Association. The building was rededicated in 2012 after significant renovations that enhanced energy efficiency.

The mural will include the following structures that still stand in the community: Congregational Church of Jefferson Park, Jefferson National/Hoyne Savings Bank, Our Lady of Victory Church, Jefferson Masonic Temple, Jefferson Park firehouse, Copernicus Center and Wilson Park fieldhouse.
