International School of Berne (ISBerne) is an accredited, international school in Gümligen, Muri bei Bern, Switzerland.^[1] Founded in 1961, this private, day school serves over 275 international students aged 3 to 18^[2] from more than 40 countries.

The curriculum is the International Baccalaureate and is taught in English. Two official Swiss languages, German and French, are taught as additional languages. Students may pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma or ISBerne Diploma - a fully accredited, American High School Diploma.

Students participate in an array of school-sponsored activities such as outdoor education camps and the Ski and Skate Fridays.

The International School of Berne was first accredited in 1984 by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and was re-accredited in 1994, 2004, 2015 and 2023. The NEASC accreditation also is the validating body of the ISBerne High School Diploma, a United States equivalent High School Diploma.

The International School of Berne is fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The educational authorities of Kanton Bern also supervise the school, and it operates with their full approval.
