Is it possible to make multiple books?

Is it possible to make more than one book? --JC Rules! (talk) 00:44, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Of course! You can make an infinite amount of books on Wikipedia. Abhijay (☎ Talk) (✐ Deeds) 11:55, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

And how? I couldn't manage to keep two book organized at the same time...LucaCerone —Preceding undated comment added 02:23, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Can I make some books simultaneously? Two books at once, for example.Robin688 (talk) 15:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

Bookmarking in PDFs

I think a good idea for Books > Download to PDF would be to include a list of bookmarks, preferably by article title, so that when the PDF is opened in Adobe, you can browse through the PDF to each article through the bookmark tab instead of having to find the page number on the table of contents...Not a huge inconvenience but I think it would help make the PDFs that are hundreds of pages (I know mine are) easier to navigate in Reader.

Responding to the above posting That would be a great idea to have implemented for easy to search and reading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattongbp (talkcontribs) 07:28, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Edit: like above im actually getting about 3 diffreant types of errors.
______

I get this error too. In my case I'm trying to output The Medici to PDF. The error is:

Bug: convert template error message

The US-metric conversions seem to break down. The PDF version of George Washington, for example, contains things like:

the 18000-acre (unknown operator: u'strong' km2) Custis estate
to 6500 acres (unknown operator: u'strong' km2),
100 feet (unknown operator: u'strong' m) square

A problem with the template? -- Jake (talk) 02:01, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

This was reported at Template talk:Convert#Download as PDF_fault? last month, but no-one has taken any notice yet. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:05, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
very strange, it is also not respecting the {{formatnum: 1234}} operator, since there is no comma separators. the "view a printable version" works, so it must be a bug with the pdf generator. Frietjes (talk) 19:10, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
The problem still exists. Example: kilometres to miles conversions in a .pdf version of Hex River Tunnels appear as "Of the 30 kilometres (unknown operator: u'strong' miles) of track, 16.8 kilometres (unknown operator: u'strong' miles) are underground." André Kritzinger 23:54, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Overlapping images issue - Revisited

Please see Overlapping images issue. The problem as reported two years ago seems to be still unresolved. For example, in a .pdf version of South African Class 16E 4-6-2 images still overlap. André Kritzinger 00:24, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
