Svenska: Konstnärens mor är avbildad i äldre år. Hon bär en vit draperad klänning med rödrosa rosett, en vit, lös fichu av tunt tyg kring halsen samt en mössa med spetsar och band.

Ram av skulpterat och bronserat trä.

Kommentar: Pastellen är utförd på sammanlagt fem hoplimmade pappersark. Genom den relativt glesa väven under anas en modellteckning, synbarligen utförd verso på det största, centrala pappret. Monteringens bakstycke består av flera sammanlimmade papper; på insidan av bakstycket syns en modellstudie i svartkrita och på ett undre, delvis synligt papper en modellstudie i rödkrita.
