Splitting it up?[edit]

Hey Biktor627, the thought occurred to me that it might be better to split this article up. This is partly a practical suggestion, since it would take a long time to put together a whole article on question semantics, and some of the (sub)sections here are near the point where they'd already stand on their own. But I'm also not sure that "question semantics" is really the ideal scope for a Wikipedia article. A short article on (for example) alternative questions could be very useful to (for example) a student who's encountered the term and wants a clear definition and a basic overview of the key data and main theories. And a "semantic theories" section in the question article could be useful to give some insight and pique the curiosity of a non-linguist reader. But I'd worry that a "question semantics" article would end up simultaneously too broad and too niche. Of course, this is just my thought-- curious to hear yours.
