The Weber Subdivision, was a train subdivision under Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. Opening in the 1890’s to relive freight and passenger service. Passenger service ran until 1941. After the bankruptcy of the C&NW railroad. The line became under Union Pacific in the 1970’s. The line ceased service in the mid-2000’s and Union Pacific removed the tracks in 2009. The City of Chicago is attempting to purchase the right-of-way.
