Riddle of Fire is a 2023 American film, written, directed, and produced by Weston Rizooli. It stars Lio Tipton, Charles Halford, Lorelei Olivia Mote, Charlie Stover, Phoebe Ferro, and Skyler Peters. Variety has described the film as a "faux-’70s children’s fantasy adventure."[1][2]

The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, in the Directors' Fortnight section, and competed for the Caméra d'Or Award[3], and went on to play the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in the Midnight Madness section.[4][5][6] It is set to be released theatrically by Yellow Veil Pictures and Vinegar Syndrome on March 22, 2024.[7]

Premise[edit]

Three precocious children embark upon a dangerous adventure in an attempt to secure the password that unlocks their video game console.

The film was shot on 16mm film[8][9] in director Weston Rizooli's hometown of Park City, Utah.[10]

The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, in the Directors' Fortnight section.[11]
