Mametaliyev Nizam Ruslanovich[1] (Russian: Маметалиев Низам Русланович) — Kazakh rap musician Uyghur origin, better known by his stage names Nizam DRedd.[2] и DRedd (born 1 august 1989, Almaty), Kazakh SSR) Repeated participant in online rap battles hip-hop.ru, InDaRnB. He gained the greatest fame thanks to such tracks as «Страха нет», «Грусти по-счастливому»[3]. Creator and owner of the channel "MNC Motivation" on YouTube.

Biography[edit]

Nizam Mametaliyev was born 1 August 1989[4] in Almaty. Father, Ruslan Mametaliyev - Uighur; mother, Anisat Mametaliyeva - Lachka. He graduated from the 9th grade at secondary school N69, Almaty, while studying at school he was actively involved in sports and went to competitions. After graduating from high school, he entered a construction college, which he graduated in 2009[5]. In 2010, he took up videography[6], later he directed commercials for major brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Coca-Cola, Visa, Servier, Abbot etc. Having started his musical career, he took on the stage name DRedd[7]. He gained fame thanks to social networks, where his music was distributed. Among his early works, “Города” became the most popular. Nizam DRedd later became famous not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other post-Soviet countries[8].

Career[edit]

He began to actively engage in music with underground battle tracks in 2007, 29 October, 2010 performed for the first time at a concert[9] in his hometown of Almaty.

2007—2010: Start[edit]

In 2009, after meeting such performers as GMS and Offside. Together they create the group Almaty Legion[10]. In 2010 he released his first solo mixtape "Я против"[11].

2010—2012: Creation[edit]

In 2012, he released a mixtape called Колонизация, which featured artists such as Shot, Dessar, T1One and others[12].

He conflicted and offended many rappers in his tracks; during this period, joint tracks appeared with such artists as AL Hammer, Dessar, RZN Coast, Micfire [Mafyo], Shot, Кто Proтив, T1one, Нагора, Чудо, Mr. Hyde, Лок Дог,Рем Дигга, Dom1no, Elvira T, Tanir, Q-Fast, СД, El Paso и тд.

2013—2015: Changing the vector of creativity[edit]

Since 2013, an active period in music began, many tracks were written. But for unknown reasons, some tracks were lost.

Album «Реабилитация»[13][14] released in 2015, consisted of 24 compositions. Half of them are performed solo by the Nizam himself. Such compositions as «Давай, вставай!», «Моя свобода», «Кем мы были раньше» are among the most popular among admirers of the Nizam’s work.

2017—2021[edit]

In 2017, the album "Пик"[15][16] was released. A track from the album called «Уставшие люди» gets broadcast on television on the MuzzOne channel. He recalls this in an interview for the BackStage Media Academy program:[17]

In 2019 two releases were released at once - the album «Прорвемся»[18] and album «Все в твоих руках»[19].

On September 22, 2020, the video “Холодный как лед”[20] is released. The director and cameraman was Alina Pasok, one of the founders of the group Little Big, whose outrageous videos on YouTube receive millions of views.

3 March 2020 album coming out «Раньше было по другому»[21], where there are many joint tracks.

In April 2021 Nizam presented his 6th solo album entitled «Белладонна»[22].

2022—present time[edit]

In April 2023, a new single “Две тысячи масок”[23][24] [25] is released and video clip[26].

In November 2023 the new album “Левиафан” was released[29] [30] [31] [32] together with СД and This Blind.

History of youtube channel[edit]

Nizam started his channel on YouTube November 2019 at the age of 30 under the name "MNC Motivation"[33][34] he produced motivational content. However, his videos remained obscure until his 2020 video “Жизнь Коротка,” which racked up millions of views. In 2022, Nizam receives a silver award for 100,000 subscribers[35]. As of 2023, the channel already has more than 200,000 subscribers and more than 28,000,000 views.

Personal life[edit]

On October 5, 2018, Nizam and his wife Madina had a son, Atlant.[36]. In 2019 he stared in the film by Akan Sataeva "Рассвет Великой степи", he played the son of a shepherd.[37]
