The Natchez Courier was a newspaper in Natchez, Mississippi. It was established as Natchez by W. P. Mellen (William Pepperill Mellen) who moved to Mississippi from New Hampshire. He changed its name to The Courier. He was its editor and publisher. His son Thomas Lewis Mellen was a lawyer, postmaster, state legislator, and church leader in Natchez.[1]
