Mridul George (born 2 September 1987) is an Indian scriptwriter & published author who works in Malayalam cinema.He made his debut with Luca (2019), co-written with director Arun Bose.[1][2][3].His second movie , Mindiyum Paranjum is also a co-writing venture with Arun Bose with Unni Mukundan & Aparna Balamurali in lead roles[4][5].His first book titled 'Paathi Murinja Ticketukal' was published in 2018 and is considered to be the first fan fiction book in Malayalam[6][7]
Personal life[edit]
Mridul George hails from Muvattupuzha, Kerala.He completed his schooling from Nirmala Higher Secondary School Muvattupuzha and did his B.Tech in Information Technology from Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology.He is also a master degree holder from BITS Pilani.He started his I.T career with Infosys Limited and currently he is with Nielsen.He is married to Dr.Ann Prince from 2015 and the couple is having a son,George Mridul George.
Film career[edit]
Mridul George penned the script for Luca along with Arun Bose. In 2023, he wrote the script for Mindiyum Paranjum directed by Arun Bose, along with the director. He also directed the short films Mattoru Katha(2016) , Bhootham Bhaavi Varthamanam (2016)& Talsamayam[8][9](2020) .Talsamayam made it into the 13th International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala as an official entry in Non-Competition category[10].Mridul George wrote the screenplay for the short films Njane Kandullu(2016) & Chilappol Daivam(2022).
