Mohammad Hossein Jafari (born April 9, 1998) was the too scorer of Iranian under 18 national basketball team, and he previously played for Azad University Of Tehran at the age of 18 before traveling to the united states.
Jafari is currently playing professional basketball in Iranian Super League. His interest in the sport of Basketball started at a very young age. He was a teenager when he started playing Basketball. Gradually, with the encouragement of his parents, and the good physical skills and fast responses, he was able to accomplish perfect achievements in the sport of Basketball.
He helped his club team to earn the first place in 2015 and advance to final four for 4 years in a row from 2011 to 2015. He was known as one of the top 5 players in the country in 3 years in a row in his age and was also invited to the national team.
He entered the Iran National team at the age of 15. He got selected in Iran 3 on 3 basketball national team and earned the 3rd place in the ISF World Cup in Tallinn in June of 2015 ( Jersey number #9). His first championship experience as an Iranian national team player was in FIBA Asia cup U18 (Jersey number #9) where he was able to help his team earn first place and was chosen as top 8 players in his age. He also was ranked as one of the top scorers and shooting guards in Asia. As of winning the FIBA Asian Cup, they advanced to FIBA World Cup.
After his amazing performance in FIBA Asian Cup, he was known as one of most talented young basketball players in Iran and Asia. Petitioner got invited to Iran senior national team camps and played in FIBA WABA Cup in Jordan in 2017 ( jersey number #6) with the Iran senior national team . He also helped Iran national basketball team in The FIBA World Cup U19 in Cairo in July of 2017(jersey number #9).
After Asian championship and his outstanding performances, basketball teams and clubs from all over the world started to recruit him but he had decided to continue his career in United States[1] for a chance to chase his dream, which is the NBA.
He received an invitation from Hillcrest prep in Phoenix, Arizona. He played for Hillcrest prep in 2017-2018 season ( jersey number :23) and was being recruited and received interest by D1 schools such as, Montana State University, Georgia Tech University, Oregon State University, University of Portland , Drake University, American University, Georgetown University and Longwood University.
Petitioner decided to sign with New Mexico Junior College under full Athletic Scholarship.
He decided to play for New Mexico Junior College under full athletic scholarship. After playing his first two year of college basketball, he transferred to Northern New Mexico College[2] and finished his College Basketball career.
His extraordinary ability as an athlete in the field of basketball has sustained national and international acclaim. This can be evidenced through her participation at following contests:

• A member of the youth National basketball Team of Iran in the 3 on 3 ISF World cup (Tallinn 2016) – 1st place.
• A member of the youth National basketball Team of Iran in the FIBA Asian Cup (Tehran 2016) – 3rd place
• A member of the senior National basketball Team of Iran in the FIBA WABA Asian Cup (Jordan 2017) – 3rd place
