Lee Hye-in (Korean: 이혜인; born April 21, 2008), also known mononymously as Hyein, is a South Korean singer. She is a member of South Korean girl group NewJeans and a former member of the South Korean children's groups U.sso Girl and Play With Me Club.

Life and career[edit]

2017–2021: U.SSO Girl and Play With Me Club[edit]

In 2017, Lee was announced as a member of the children's group U.sso Girl under the stage name U.Jeong. The group debuted on November 7, 2017, with their first digital single Go Go Sing. Lee departed from the group a year later, sometime in 2018.[citation needed]

On January 11, 2019, she was revealed as a member of the children's co-ed group Play With Me Club. The group made their debut with with the first digital single "Let’s Play" on December 16, 2020. Lee departed from the group on May 3, 2021.[citation needed]

In 2021, Lee became a regular guest on the children's television show Tok! Tok! Boni Hani! as past of a co-ed dance group named SIXDANCE.[citation needed]

2022–present: Debut with NewJeans[edit]

Lee made her debut as a member of NewJeans on August 1, 2022, with their extended play, New Jeans.[1]

In February 2024, Lee featured along with singer Cho Won-sun on the track "Shh..." from The Winning, the eleventh EP by singer-songwriter IU.[2]

Endorsements[edit]

In December 2022, Louis Vuitton announced Lee as one of their new global house ambassadors, becoming the youngest ambassador for the brand at 14 years old. She has also attended Paris Fashion Week representing Louis Vuitton. In April 2023, Lee became the youngest cover girl to be on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Korea.
