Lake Louise is a lake located in Manitoba, Canada. It was named after Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward then the Earl of Wessex, during a visit by Prince Edward to Manitoba's capital Winnipeg in June 2008.[1]

Instead of a traditional gift given at events, two lakes in the province were named in honour of his two children, Lake Louise after Louise and Lake James after Louise's younger brother James, then Viscount Severn. The two lakes are located next to each other. Both lakes are glacial type.
