LEGO Ninjago: Tournament (also known as LEGO Ninjago: Tournament of Elements) was a LEGO-themed side-scrolling action videogame developed by TT Games and published by The LEGO Group. It was released in February 2015 for iOS and Android worldwide. The game was no longer available to play after 2018.

The game revolves around the fourth season (Tournament of Elements) of the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series. The game was available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store. The game also serves as the second LEGO Ninjago videogame. A month later, a third Ninjago game titled LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin released for mobile, the PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS.

Gameplay[edit]

In the game, Master Chen lures Elemental Masters to his island for the Tournament of Elements. The player's mission is to defeat the other Elemental Masters. The game consisted of 3 levels: the Dojo, Chen's Arena and the Temple Gallery.

The Dojo[edit]

In this section of the game, Sensei Wu instructs the player on how to maneuver, strike, leap, slam, dodge, grab, punch, and use Spinjitzu. A practice test is conducted after finishing.

Chen's Arena[edit]

The major part of the game is played here. Enemy groups use bombs, bows & arrows, and melee weapons to attack the players. The player must eliminate more opponents before the following wave begins the more waves they have finished.

Every few waves, a boss appears. Bosses have unique powers of their own; Ash can vanish and then reappear behind the player's back. Certain adversary factions possess unique capabilities: the Anacondrai Cultists possess greater health, and unlike bosses, they are unable of being carried in their Anacondrai form. When the Nindroids spawn, they are invisible at first until they decide to appear.

Events include the Roto Jet, which shoots missiles and boxes that, when broken, drop studs and occasionally hearts, the Condrai Crushers, which release Anacondrai Cultists, and the training equipment, which uses punching bags to provide studs, deliver damage and occasionally hearts when broken.

The Temple Gallery[edit]

The player can view all of the Ninjago 2015 Wave 1 (LEGO) Sets here. Some sets include 70735 and 70756.[1][2]
