  • Comment: check for citations to the person's papers and books , it's all that realy matters. DGG ( talk ) 07:00, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
  • Comment: Draft reads like a resume, with an overload of primary sources--besides filler and promotional or semi-promotional content. Meeting NPROF can be established by citing independent secondary sources which prove that the subject made an impact in the profession, but that is not achieved in the draft. • Comment: Reads like a puff piece in places. Claims must be follwed by inline references. Text should not be copy-pasted from sources, but paraphrased or summarised. Bogger (talk) 11:39, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
  • Comment: I was almost ready to accept this until I found many hours skiing, hiking, running and kayaking in the beautiful Upper Valley.. You will need to look throughout your draft and read WP:TONE. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 07:35, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

Pauwels studied Latin-Math and Latin-Sciences at St Joseph College, Turnhout. During his Bachelor in Commercial Engineering, he went on an AIESEC internship in Augsburg, Germany and an Erasmus exchange semester to Galway, Ireland, where he was enrolled in his first marketing class, writing his term project on reference price effects[8]. He then went on for a Master in Marketing in Louvain-la-Neuve, earning high distinction for his thesis, under supervision of professor Jean-Jacques Lambin, on predicting competitive price response. During these studies, Koen became the manager of Telework Home, employing physically challenged graduates from graphics software training programs to design the product, market it and deliver it together while at home. After starting a PhD in Belgium, Koen met Mike Hanssens during the EMAC Doctoral Consortium and transferred to UCLA in 1997. Graduating in 2001 under Mike’s supervision with a thesis on Long-Term Marketing Effectiveness, Koen was elected as a ‘Top 100 Inspirational Alumnus’[1][9] among 37,000 UCLA Anderson School of Management graduates. Starting his assistant professorship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Koen received tenure in 2005.
