Dr. Jitendra Sharma (born:15 August 1981)[2] is an Indian medical entrepreneur and the MD & Founder CEO of Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone[3] who has worked as a consultant at World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Sharma has also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Adelaide, Australia and provided guidance and expertise as an adviser to the Health Technology Innovation Centre at IITM.[4]

Early life and education[edit]

Dr. Sharma was born and brought up in Chittaranjan, West Bengal, India. He did his schooling from his hometown and moved to Tata Institute of Social Sciences for further education. Later he joined Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and MATS University for higher education.[5]

Career[edit]

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Sharma has directed projects at Sri Sathya Sai Hospitals and AIIMS New Delhi. He has served in academic and advisory roles globally. As Founder CEO of Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone, Dr. Sharma has played a role in establishing a medical device manufacturing hub. He leads various med-tech incubators, fostering innovation in healthcare.[6][7]
