María Florencia Lauga (Buenos Aires, April 24, 1987), is an Argentine communicator, actress, and broadcaster.

Biography[edit]

María Florencia, "Flor," Lauga was born in Versailles, Capital Federal, where she lived for five years until she moved with her family to Tandil. There, she began taking acting classes while continuing her grade school education. At the young age of nine, she portrayed a boy in her first official theatre role, starring in the play "Relojes Blandos." Since early childhood, she participated in multiple writing and acting workshops. At the age of seventeen, she began studying Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, where she obtained her bachelors degree. She also studied acting at the National University of the Arts, the General San Martín Municipal Theater, the school of Helena Nesis and Raúl Serrano, the Sportivo Teatral with Ricardo Bartís, and Method Acting through many international seminars. In 2011, she obtained the degree of Radio and Television Broadcaster from the Éter Institute, and shortly after, completed her studies in standard Spanish, allowing her to become a dubbing actress. In 2013 she published her first poetry book, "Es lo que es."

In 2015 she went to live abroad where she started her career in media. She stayed outside of her native Argentina for four years, but decided to return in 2019. Since then, she spends her time helping people better their oratory skills.
