A Dodgy-Box is a common method of piracy in the United Kingdom, where the user pays either a one time fee or a subscription to use a service that contains illegally obtained movies, shows, and sport events. The term references the Sky Digibox, a well known device marketed by Sky UK in the UK and Ireland to enable home users to receive digital satellite television.
These devices are commonly in the form of a Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, or the now discontinued NOW tv range of devices, also owned by Sky UK.
