Book 1: Diary of an 8-bit Villager Warrior[edit]

Runt Ironfurnace[1] is a 12-year old villager who lives in Villagetown[2] who wants to be a warrior like a Human friend of his, Steve[3]. When his school announces that the top 5 students have the chance to become warriors, he and his best friend, Stump[4] are overjoyed. But there's A problem. Max[5] and his friend, Razberry[6], are aways pulling pranks on Runt and will stop at nothing to be in the top 5. They first do a farming test, next, they do a mining test. In their building test, Runt and Stump's Furnace House loses against some girls' Mushroom House. They later find out that it's about efficiency. They then copied the girls by making a Mushroom Castle in the next building test. They lost again. Steve comes by and helps Runt craft a wooden sword. Steve also tells Runt on how he is immortal. They had an "incident" the next day. Mike[7] traps a farmer named Bub under his house. The next building test is postponed, too. They come up with a plan. "Project X" and win. Next, Steve... was homeless because the mobs attacked his base and destroyed it. Also, Mike went to jail. They also have a new combat teacher named "Urf[8]" who only had a combat score of seven. He was going to try to get Mike out of jail. It didn't work. Later the night, Steve woke up, went outside, on the roof, and killed a spider that was on the roof. He then promised to be their new combat teacher. The next night, he went outside the walls to try and prove himself. He fought off Enderman, Spiders, Zombie and Skeletons. All at the same time. He had proven himself and would be their new combat teacher. Mike also proved himself. About a week later, A human named Joe wandered into the village. Runt sold some leather boots to him. There was a mining test, and Razberry tricked Runt. In the trading test, students were allowed to cheat traders to make their level go up. Stump came up with "Project All Eggs in One Basket" the plan was: to trick Leaf[9] into trading green eggs instead of emeralds. It worked! Their trading score went up to 100%. Embarrassingly, Runt was defeated by a dummy made to look like A Zombie. Runt also decides to build A "Monster Box" a few days later, he hears A sound coming from it.[10]

Book 2: From Seeds to Swords[edit]

Runt breaks through the walls of the Monster box, to find a baby slime. And he decides to name it "Jello[11]"and keep as a pet. Runt and Max decide to become friends because there is an meaner bully named Pebble[12], who would later rip and destroy their record books and try to hurt them in the mining test that was in a few weeks. One single dark oak tree is growing to the east of the village which would later grow into a forest. Steve also becomes their new combat teacher and Runt becomes friends with a girl named Breeze[13]He also finds out the Breeze has been spying on him. When their village gets attacked by Mobs. Urkk[14], A giant zombie pigman with a modified fishing rod, Flings Breeze away. Runt manages to defeat him with a Mushroom and TNT. Their Level also goes up, too.[15]

Book 3: Crafting Alliances[edit]

Urf had gone missing, carrying half a village supply room with him. The rules of the school were changed, too. They also have a new combat teacher, named Drill[16]. Later, after school they made a deadfall field. The mayor of Villagetown gave a speech later that night about how the eastern wall wouldn't fall. The next day, They learned about things called building fails. One day later, Runt and a girl named Emerald[17] that he later becomes friends with go outside the walls to do Project Squidboat: go outside the wall, build things, and see how the mobs react. Runt built first. He made a house out of cacti and melons. The mobs trashed it. Emerald built a little, girly house. She then placed a sign the said: "Zombies stink. to death." The mobs trashed that too. Runt wanted to go outside one more time. He built a cube out of obsidian. The mob couldn't trash that, so they just covered it up with dirt. A group of humans soon arrived, Their leaders named Kolb[18] and Elisa[19][20], and started bossing people around. Including Emerald, Runt, and Breeze. Breeze threw three punches at Kolb in 0.5 seconds. Emerald later develops a crush on Kolb. Herobrine[21] appears the next day and stuns them with lightning. Notch[22] later arrives and gets polymorphed into a rabbit. He then turns back and the two rise and start to fight in the clouds. The mayor[23] gives another speech about how they were at war. the head assistant of the mayor, Brio, comes up and reveals that Breeze is his daughter. Stump and Runt were assigned to be lumberjacks. They find a ladder and a tunnel that leads down under the village. They find a tree to hide in to spy on what's going on. then they see the "Village Creeper[24]" was making its way toward the tunnel. Max and Breeze come by just then and ask what's going on. They go home and get their cats. They then use their cats to capture the mob. In return, they receive 128 Emeralds each. Then they went fishing. In the building test, they win by making an alarm system that tells them if the mobs are tunnelling underground. Emerald got a Scarf for Kolb. A wall of super-strong slimes (SSS) appears just outside the forest. Runt was brave. They were resistant to arrows and swords. He later finds out that that they are not resistant to TNT. He uses an ender pearl into the air. He also uses TNT to blow them up. A zombie named Angryface McSparklebutt throws a potion of slowness at Runt. as the zombie turned to kill Runt, Breeze appeared and killed him. Later that night, the mayor gave a speech about how Breeze and Runt were war heroes. They also get special cloaks as a reward.[25]

Book 4: Path of the Diamond[edit]

The group goes to the pool. Later that night, Pebble and his friends take Runt to village supply room "Storage #7" with TNT at the back of the wall and taunted him, took away all his items except his cloak, some cookies, and a water bucket, and threw him into a 1x1 hole. They covered it with TNT and rebuilt the wall. Runt realises that he still has a water bucket and uses it. Pebble's friends ignite the TNT. Due to the water bucket, which absorbed the damage, Runt survives, but he soon blacks out. When he wakes up, A human named Sami looks down on Runt, asking him if he's okay. Zombies came though the exploded wall and the villagers fight them and win. Kolb also digs a moat to stop the zombies from getting farther. Pebble gets banished from the village[26]. There is also a new bully, Cogboggle[27]. They later hear about how that they would do some skyball and a Redstone test even though they haven't learned about it in class. Razberry does "Operation Snoop": peek at everyone's record books and give information. Runt goes to The Garage and finds Nessa Diamondcube[28] (more commonly known as Lola.) She is second to–last in place, but she has the highest crafting score. She will lend her flying machine to the group, but Runt has to teach her in return. Runt also went fishing. While they're fishing, they see Notch and Herobrine fighting in a cloud. Then, all other 145 students wanted Lola to be their redstone genius. After all, she did make a flying machine.
