Cindy Bouwers (born Cindy Stronks) is a Dutch-Canadian painter and graphic designer[1] based in Calgary, Alberta.[2][3] Bouwers primarily works in the area of landscape painting.[4][5][6][7]

Background[edit]

Cindy Bouwers was born in Picture Butte, Alberta.[8] In the 1980s, Bouwers worked for the University of Alberta Department of Art & Design.[9]

Work[edit]

Cindy Bouwers creates works with oil paint.[10][11][12] She has also made sculptures.

Personal life[edit]

Unrelated to her career as an artist, the Calgary Herald interviewed Bouwers in 2007 for a segment on parenting.[13]
