The Baba Amte Divyang University is the state affiliating University[1] in India n state of Rajasthan's capital, Jaipur.[2] It was established by Act no. 9 of 2023 by the Rajasthan government. It's founding Vice-Chancellor is Dr. Dev Swarup.[3] The name of the university is on Murlidhar Devidas Amte Baba Amte a noble laureate Indian social worker and social activist. He was devoted to disabled rehabilitation and the University is also aimed to promote higher education and research for divyangs.[4] Rajasthan has passed the bill tabled by Tika Ram Jully in 2023 to establish Baba Amte Divyang University in Jamdoli, Jaipur, for higher education and research for the disabled.[5][6] The university is the first in the state and the third in India for the disabled, providing better opportunities for higher studies and research. The university is completely equipped, with facilities such as wi-fi, smart classrooms, computer labs, and projectors. B.Ed. regular courses will be conducted, along with courses on intellectual disability and diplomas in sign language.

The 'Chief Minister's Minority Language Proficiency and Communication Skill Development Scheme' aims to provide employment to the youth of minority communities by developing their skills in Spanish, Persian, French, German, Arabic, and English. Students enrolled in this scheme will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 3,500. The scheme targets educated youth of higher secondary level of minority communities native to Rajasthan, aged 18-35.[7]

The Rajasthan MSME Act-2023 Bill has been passed by a voice vote in the state assembly, aiming to strengthen the industrial sector at the national and international level. The Act seeks to increase the period of exemption from 3 years to 5 years, opening the way for setting up inspection or NOC-free industries for 5 years.[8]
