B.D.U (Korean브두; known as Boys Define Universe) is a South Korean boy band group formed by CJ ENM through the 2024 reality show Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival on Mnet. The project group will be active for two years.[1][2]

Pre-debut activities and formation through Build Up[edit]

In 29 March 2024, In the final episode of Mnet's Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival (referred as 'Build Up'), the final stages of the three finalist teams were revealed, Jay Chang, Bitsaeon, Seunghun, and Kim Min-seo were selected as the winners. The name of their debut group was decided to be "B.D.U".[3]
