Aydın Sezer, Turkish citizen, born in 1959, graduated from Middle East Technical University, International Relations in 1983.
Living in Ankara, Ex–deputy leader of the Democratic Party.
He was an ex government official. He worked as a commercial counsellor at the Turkish Embassies in Cairo and Moscow. He is specialized in Turkish-Russian relations.
He was one of the two contributors to the research named “Neighbourhood Policy of Turkey, carried out for TUSIAD; and also one of the two contributors to the book having the same title, published by TUSIAD.
He was a columnist in the newspaper “Referans”. He has published a book called “Blue Dream - Mavi Düş”, which was published by a reputable publishing house i.e. Doğan Kitap with two editions. The book is about natural gas pipeline between Russia and Turkey ; Blue Stream.
He provides reviews for BBC Turkish, Deutsche Welle Turkish and Reuters, wsj and FT on Turkish-Russian relations. He often participate in broadcasts of Medyascope TV and provides evaluations on Turkish-Russian relations, energy issues, Syrian and Libyan conflicts.
