Avanti Nagrath is an Indian model. Nagrath quickly rose to fame, after opening the Fall/Winter 2022 Versace show and being the first Indian model to do so.[1] Nagrath currently ranks on the "Hot List" on models.com.[2]
Early Life[edit]
Avanti Nagrath was born in Delhi, India and has a younger brother. Nagrath described herself as a "tomboy", always outdoors playing basketball and her other hobby was being in front of the camera.[1]
When Nagrath was 14 years old, her mother encouraged her to pursue modelling and was discovered through social media after posting photos of herself. At 15 years old, Nagrath started taking modelling classes[1]
Career[edit]
In 2020 Nagrath was recognized as one of the top 50 Indian models.[3]
In 2022 Nagrath was booked for Milan and Paris Fashion Week where she opened for Versace. Since then Nagrath has worked with brands such as Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, The Row, Burberry, Jacquemus, ALYX, Ferragamo, Courreges, Hermès, Ralph Lauren as well as Alaïa.[1]
