Alex Bafer is an American entertainment executive[1] most known in broadcast network circles as the CEO and Chairman of fuboTV, and largely credited with it's expansion and success as a sports streaming platform in the United States.[2][3] From 2009 to 2020, he was the executive Chairman and CEO of Facebank Group (a virtual entertainment firm), along with businessman John Textor, and in 2020, merged Facebank with fuboTV and took it public (NYSE: FUBO).[4][5][6]
He is also the former Chairman and CEO of Carolco Pictures,[7][8] which produced Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Total Recall, Basic Instinct, and the first three films of the Rambo franchise.
Career[edit]
After graduating from St. John’s University, Bafer co-manage a $500M portfolio at Merrill Lynch in New York City during the mid-90s. Bafer then founded and became CEO at Recall Studios, which developed augmented reality software and content for streaming media networks. The company's customer list includes, among others, BMW and Macallan Whiskey. The company was also the first to film an American president, Barack Obama, in VR.[9][10][11]
He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Olympique Lyonnais Group.[12] He is also the former Chairman and CEO of Carolco Pictures. Bafer is currently (2023) the CEO of Brick Top Holdings, an advisory company focused on media and entertainment, headquartered in Boca Raton.

Bafer graduated from Saint John's University (1991) with a Bachelor of Science pre-law studies.
